\n\tWaterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced they will be holding their 2014 Media Day on Sunday, May 25, at Pepper's Grill and Sports Pub in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  The event, which is open to all members of the general public and media, is set to begin at 12:00 pm and will conclude at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\tMedia Day will provide a chance for both the media and fans to meet and interact with the Bucks’ players, coaches, and front office staff.  Pepper's,\"peppers<\/a> a longtime Bucks sponsor, is located at 620 East 18th Street in Cedar Falls. <\/p>\n

\tThe 2014 Media Day will be broadcast live on ESPN 1330 (KWLO-AM) from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Bucks radio announcer Scott Montesano will host the broadcast which will feature a season preview and interviews with staff, coaches, and players.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Bucks will open the 2014 season on the road versus the Rochester Honkers on May 27, but return to Waterloo for their home opener versus Rochester on May 28.  Season tickets and group outings are currently on sale.  For more information, call the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.  All 72 games may be heard on 1330 AM ESPN (KWLO).  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
