\n\tBATTLE CREEK, MI The Waterloo Bucks received a stellar outing on the mound from starting pitcher Cody Sedlock but couldn't come through at the plate in a 30 loss to the Battle Creek Bombers at C.O. Brown Stadium on Wednesday. Sedlock allowed just three runs on eight hits over seven innings giving the Bucks their second statistical quality start of the season and helped to rest a weary bullpen.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tHowever, he was one-upped by Battle Creek starter Alex Hermerling who yieled just two hits and a walk in seven innings of work. The Bucks got a runner to reach third only once and didn't have their first hit until the sixth inning.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tJake Riffice and Luke Stratman had the two Bucks' hits in the game.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tBattle Creek scored all their runs on two-out RBI singles starting in the fifth inning when Henri Latigue went the opposite way into left field to score Joey Havrilak from second base. Latigue did it again in the seventh with a two-out single to right that plated a run and then Connor Panas singled to left field to make the score 3-0.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tOutside of those innings, Sedlock was good as he walked only one in seven innings.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tJD Moore fired a 1-2-3 eighth inning.\n<\/p>\n
