\n\tUsually when a team's bullpen has the type of performance we saw from the Bucks on Monday night, you write the game off as a loss and move on to the next one. You can't win 'em all. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tMonday night, though, it was the offense's turn to bail out the pitching. The late inning pitchers have been tremendous in the early part of this season, at times making up for a lack of offense. Despite giving up six runs over the last four innings of the game, though, the Waterloo offense roped timely hits into the gaps and came away with a thrilling tenth inning walk-off victory. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe game winning hit came off the bat of Kevin Kaczmarski, who drove in Luke Stratman from second base. The Bucks entered the bottom of the tenth down by one run. With one out, Jon McAllister walked and stole second base. The next batter, Stratman, laced a double into the left center field gap, driving in McAllister and tying the game. Before the fans could sit down from celebrating the game-tying double, Kaczmarski drove the ball into the same spot, scoring Stratman, and sending the fans home happy. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tTJ Peterson is credited with the victory for the Bucks. He allowed one run in the tenth inning, though he did manage to work out of a bases loaded jam. A walk and two infield singles loaded the bases with no outs, before Peterson sent the next three batters down in order. The only run allowed was on a fielder's choice. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tEric Gleese takes the loss for the Express after allowing two earned runs (including the game winner) over an inning and a third. Eau Claire's starter Aron McRee lasted six innings, though he surrendered seven runs (five earned) and only struck out two Bucks. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tTim Shannon had a solid bounce back outing after struggling in his previous appearance. He allowed four hits and two earned runs over six innings. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bucks pen has been one of their biggest strengths to this point in the season. Being able to win when they struggle, though, is a very reassuring sign going forward. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bucks take on the Willmar Stingers Tuesday night at 6:35 p.m. Dane Dunning will make his Bucks debut in that one. The club will look to increase their winning streak to six games. \n<\/p>\n
