\n\tMore than half of the Bucks wins thus far in their 2014 campaign have been come from behind victories; the Bucks have been tremendous at winning close games and holding late leads. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThat was not the case Sunday afternoon, though, as the Bucks held a one run lead into the eighth inning and ended up on the wrong end of a lopsided outcome. A six run eighth inning carried Mankato to a 7-2 victory, one that could be huge down the stretch. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tA three run blast from Tanner Rockwell, his third of the season, put the MoonDogs up 4-2 and they would not look back. J.D Moore would allow five total runs in the eighth inning, though only two were earned. He was credited with the loss, evening his season win-loss record at 1-1. Dane Dunning, Sunday's starter, allowed just one run over seven innings, walking three and striking out five. He took a no-decision. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tMankato's Alex Hackerott allowed one run over three and one third inning and earned his second win of the season. The starter for the MoonDogs, Tyler Cobb, allowed one run (none earned) over five innings, but took a no-decision. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe win drops the Bucks to a game and a half behind Mankato for the second half playoff berth. There is still ample time to catch Mankato, but the Bucks cannot afford to drop Monday night's matchup and drop two and a half games back. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tCody Sedlock (2-2) takes the mound for the Bucks Monday night at 6:35 as the Bucks attempt to even their series and draw closer in the standings to the first place MoonDogs. Austin Warner (2-1) will start for Mankato. \n<\/p>\n
