\n\tIf the Bucks were anything on Friday night, they were consistent. The continually poured on runs, scoring in seven consecutive innings en route to a 16-0 shellacking of the Alexandria Anchors. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bucks scored three quick runs in the first inning, and were well on their way to a decisive victory, before erupting for six runs in the sixth innings. The sixth frame turned Friday's contest from ugly to hideous for the Anchors. Most of the damage done in the inning was caused by four walks and a hit batter. Five runs were forced in without the Bucks making contact. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tLandon Simpson pitched a gem for the Bucks, going seven innings and allowing no runs while striking out four. The win is the fourth of the season for the Arkansas product. Colin Wendinger and Matt Behounek tossed scoreless frames, as well. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tSea Terres took the loss for Alexandria after allowing six runs (four earned) over three innings. Kody Knaus, the pitcher that attempted to pitch for Alexandria on Thursday night but was ineligible, allowed eight runs over two innings of work. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tDavid Kerian knocked his team leading fourth home run of the season in the fourth inning, a two run blast to left field that added insult to injury. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bucks await the results the results of the Eau Claire and Willmar's matchups, as the Bucks hope to draw closer to the two teams atop the North division. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tWaterloo and Mankato square off at 7:05 p.m. Saturday. The Bucks and MoonDogs are tied in the second half standings, and this is the last home stand that the Bucks have before starting on a long road trip. Needless to say, taking this series is of the utmost importance for the Bucks. \n<\/p>\n
