\n\tDULUTH, MN Dominic Miroglio drove in the game winning run with a drive to left field in the bottom of the 10th to give the Duluth Huskies a 6-5 walk off victory over the Waterloo Bucks on Friday night. Even with the loss, the Bucks remain in second place and one game behind North Division leading Willmar thanks to some help on the out of town scoreboard but it was still a difficult loss to swallow in a back and forth game.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bucks took a 5-4 lead into the bottom of the ninth, but Nolan Johnson led off with a walk and would advance to second on a sacrifice bunt. He'd then score on Alex Greene's one-out double down the right field line tying the score at 5-5 and sending the game into extra innings.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tPat MacKenzie and Connor McClain each had three hits and two runs scored in the loss while Duluth was led by Nolan Rogers who had three hits himself.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tWaterloo took a 3-0 lead after the first inning and a half, but Duluth tied the score at 3-3 in the home half of the second.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tDuluth then grabbed a 4-3 lead on a Trent Chatterton two-out RBI single in the fourth and it stayed that way until the Bucks answered back in the sixth. Connor McClain lined a one-out single to right and went to third on a Mikal Hill single. McClain then scored on Zack Soria's sac fly to right.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tWaterloo then took a 5-4 lead in the seventh when MacKenzie led off with a single. He'd then steal second and go to third on a throwing error before scoring on Jon McAllister's base hit to center.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tHowever, the Bucks were never able to add to the 5-4 lead allowing Duluth the chance to come back in the ninth inning.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThen in the 10th, Alex Michaels' led off with a double to right and then scored the winning run when Miroglio sent a drive to left off the wall to end the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
