After a fly out, Greg Anderberg (Ellsworth\/George Washington) ripped a 2 strike, 2 out, 2-run single to put the Bucks up 3-1, followed by an RBI single by Jeff Deimling (New Mexico) to tack on an insurance run.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Whalen (Colorado Mesa) threw 5.0 innings of 1 run ball for Waterloo, striking out 3 while allowing 3 hits and walking 2. Perea came on in relief in the 6th, and proceeded to fire 3.1 scoreless out of the pen to earn the victory just a few hours after signing with the Bucks. Perea struck out 3 and allowed just 3 hits.
