Waterloo, Iowa \u2013 The Northwoods League has\u00a0announced Waterloo Bucks outfielder Brendan Hueth has been named a 2018 All-Star. \u00a0Hueth will participate in the 2018 NWL All-Star Game that will be played on Tuesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) at Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Hueth, a freshman from St. Joseph\u2019s University and originally from Spring Lake, New Jersey, is tied for the league-lead in games played with 44.\u00a0 Hitting .311 with runners on base, Heuth is currently batting .297 with 12 RBI and 9 stolen bases.<\/p>\n

Both the North Division and South Division NWL All-Star teams were announced earlier today by the league.<\/p>\n

The Bucks finish a four-game road trip tonight before returning home to begin a two-game homestand versus the Eau Claire Express on Saturday, with first pitch slated for 6:35 pm.\u00a0 All games can be heard online at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a> with play-by-play announcer Thomas Breach.\u00a0 Tickets may be purchased online at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a> or by calling the Bucks\u2019 Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.<\/p>\n

The Bucks hit the road for a six-game road trip tonight before returning home on July 4 where they will face the Willmar Stingers to begin a five-game homestand.\u00a0 All home games are played at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.\u00a0 Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, kids zone inflatables, and concessions equipment.\u00a0 Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a> or utilizing the Northwoods League Mobile App.\u00a0 Tickets are now on sale by calling the Bucks\u2019 Ticket Line at 319-232-5633.<\/p>\n
