The Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League are excited to announce that<\/span> “Shirts Off Our Back Night” presented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans jersey auction will begin via email starting August 3rd<\/sup>.  <\/span> Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Willmar Area Food Shelf as well.
<\/span>
There will be a silent auction during the game on August 9th<\/sup> for fans to place bids on all jerseys.  <\/span>Bids will be accepted during the game through the 7th<\/sup> inning.  <\/span>Winners will be announced later that night.  <\/span>100% proceeds from the Stingers Jersey Auction will be given to the Willmar Area Food Shelf.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To bid on the jerseys, please send your email bid to <\/span>nick@willmarstingers.com<\/span><\/a> or place a bid during the game on August 9th<\/sup> at the booth inside the stadium.  <\/span>For the email bid to be official, your email must include the jersey you wish to bid on, the amount, and your contact information (name, phone, email).  <\/span>Email bids and silent auction bids at the game will be accepted through the 7th<\/sup> inning.  <\/span>The Stingers website will be updated after each half inning with the highest bid.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The minimum bid for each jersey is $50.  <\/span>If you wish to purchase the jersey outright prior to August 9th<\/sup>, the purchase price is $150. The last day to buy the jerseys outright is August 8th<\/sup> at 5:00 pm.  <\/span>After that, each jersey will be auctioned normally with the highest bidder winning the jersey.   <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
