{"id":17298,"date":"2024-05-07T14:08:57","date_gmt":"2024-05-07T14:08:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/willmar-stingers\/?p=17298"},"modified":"2024-05-07T14:08:57","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T14:08:57","slug":"coordinated-business-systems-stingers-announce-community-all-star-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/willmar-stingers\/2024\/05\/07\/coordinated-business-systems-stingers-announce-community-all-star-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Coordinated Business Systems &amp; Stingers Announce Community All-Star Team!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Coordinated Business Systems &amp; Stingers Announce Community All-Star Team\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Nine local youth were selected to become Stingers for a day<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Willmar, MN &#8211; The Willmar Stingers and Coordinated Business Systems are pleased to announce the members of the 2024 Community All-Star Team.\u00a0 The Coordinated Business Systems Community All-Star team was created to reward youth for being leaders in their community and provide them with a once in a lifetime Stingers experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Youth between the ages 8 to 14 were asked to submit answers to three different questions focusing on their community and how they make a positive impact. \u00a0 A committee reviewed over 250 applications and selected the nine winners based on their experiences and answers to the three questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The 2024 Coordinated Business Systems Community All-Star Team Roster<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Amelia Kowal &#8211;<\/b> <b>Age 8 (Benson)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Harper Wander\u2013<\/b> <b>Age 9 (Sauk Centre)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Connor Anderson \u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 9 (Renville)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Lane Coulter \u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 10 (Montevideo)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Lily Kallevig \u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 11 (Kandiyohi)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Elijah Borstad \u2013<\/b> <b> Age 11 (Willmar)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Tristan Gaffaney\u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 11 (Willmar)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Reid Morrison\u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 11 (Murdock)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>*Jackson Jenks \u2013 <\/b> <b>Age 11 (Brooten)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each of the nine-youth selected will be rewarded with an experience that will show what it is like to live the day in the life of a Stingers baseball player. Each of the nine youth will become a part of the Stingers Baseball Club on the Coordinated Business Systems Community All-Star Night on Monday, July 15.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The All-Star experience for the nine youth will include:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Be announced at an official press conference where they will be presented with their own custom Willmar\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Stingers jersey (name and number) and official cap<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Be signed to a one-day promotional contract with the Willmar Stingers<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Be presented with their very own Willmar Stingers baseball card, which will also be the giveaway for that evening&#8217;s game<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Have the chance to take batting practice and infield\/outfield with the Willmar Stingers before the game<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Be introduced to the crowd as an official member of the Stingers\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Monday, July 15<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Run on the field for the National Anthem with the Willmar Stingers team<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">* Have the chance to sit in the dugout with the team for an inning during the game<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">*Participate in several on-field activities during the game.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Season ticket packages, group tickets, and Kwik Trip 5-game and 7-game plans are available.
