Willmar, MN-The Stingers are excited to announce the first roster signings for the upcoming 2022 season. Drey Dirksen and John Klein are ready to wear the black and yellow for the second consecutive summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dirksen, a sophomore at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD was a regular in the lineup last year leading the team in home runs and top five on the team in RBIs. The Spicer, MN native is currently at Augustana University where he’s posted a .417 OBP as a Viking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Klein, a native of Osseo, MN will return to the mound for the Stingers. In the 2021 summer season, he struck out 11 batters in 7.1 innings of work for the Stingers. Klein is currently a sophomore at Iowa Central Community College and has posted a 2.08 ERA in 17.1 innings pitched for the Triton in the 2022 season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
