Wisconsin Rapids chases back-to-back wins in game two with Kokomo<\/p>\n

The first-place Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (19-10) go for a clean sweep of the season series against the Kokomo Jackrabbits (10-20) as they close a four-game homestand on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Rafters made an early comeback and held off a late rally by Kokomo to pick up a 6-5 win in game one. Davion Downey launched a grand slam in the third inning and Brayden Bonner got the save with a clean ninth inning.<\/p>\n

With seven games left in the regular season, Wisconsin Rapids now sits three games ahead of the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. The team\u2019s magic number to clinch both a playoff spot and home field advantage is four.<\/p>\n

Zack Hunsicker is projected to get the start for Rapids. He has seen time both as a starter and a reliever, collecting a 3-1 record and a 4.55 ERA. Lucas Folmar, who is 3-4 record with a 4.95 ERA will start for Kokomo.<\/p>\n

Wisconsin Rapids hits the road for a two-game series against the Kenosha Kingfish on Monday and Wednesday, bookending Tuesday\u2019s Major League Dream Showcase in Madison. When the team returns to Historic Witter Field Thursday, they will face the Madison Mallards with special entertainment by the ZOOperstars! presented by Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Clinics.<\/p>\n
