The next inning, Wisconsin Rapids committed two errors which plated another runner.<\/p>\n<p>Rafters starter Caden Favors (Wichita St.), bounced back in the fourth, leaving two runners aboard. The left-hander struck out four but put four on via walks, in 23 batters faced.<\/p>\n<p>Zach Bennett (Central Florida) took the bump for the next three innings, allowing only one hit and two overall baserunners. The 6\u20195 righty earned a season-high five strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>McKinley Erves (LaGrange) who was named to the Northwoods League All-Star Game attained the only hit through the first six innings.<\/p>\n<p>In the seventh, the Rafters loaded the bases with no outs. Addie Burrow (Virginia) lofted a ball to right field, a sacrifice fly, and first run. Two flyouts followed, with the Rafters parting with two on.<\/p>\n<p>The final two innings only saw two Wisconsin Rapids baserunners, as they dropped their third straight game.<\/p>\n<p>The Rafters return home tomorrow Saturday, July 10th, and start a weekend home series against the Green Bay Booyah. Slated to start for Wisconsin Rapids are Ben Vespi (Central Florida, 2.25 ERA) and for Green Bay Evan Estridge (Clemson, 6.00 ERA).
