Wisconsin Rapids, WI – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are excited to announce open interview dates for game-day summer positions. As the anticipation for the upcoming baseball season builds, the Rafters are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their dynamic team and help create memorable experiences for fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Open interviews will take place on April 4th and April 18th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Witter Field. Candidates are encouraged to bring their applications and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are many different positions available including concessions staff, beer hosts, wait staff, kids zone staff, livestream camera operator, mascot performer, and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Applicants can find job descriptions and download applications here.<\/a> The Rafters hire starting at 14 years old for kids zone and concessions staff, offering a unique opportunity for young individuals to gain valuable work experience in a fun and exciting environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each summer, the Rafters typically hire 75-100 game day staff, providing ample opportunities for individuals to become part of the Rafters family and contribute to the success of the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters\u00a0 are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Now in its 30th season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 24 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff, over 325 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time All-Star and 2016 Roberto Clemente Award winner Curtis Granderson, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (NYM), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS).
