The Rafters were in firm control with a 5-1 lead and a runner on second when the heavens opened up. Wisconsin Rapids had fallen behind in the top of the first but they rebounded with three of their own in the bottom half of the frame.\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n\tWith the game unable to get through 5 innings, the game will be picked up and completed when the two teams meet up again on July 31<sup>st<\/sup> in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It will take place before the regularly scheduled game that will be shortened to seven innings. As for Monday&rsquo;s game, fans will be able to exchange their tickets for any other regular season in 2014. The main attraction for Monday, Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, will stick around and be a part of Tuesday&rsquo;s bark in the park festivities presented by Quality Feed and Seed.\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n\t<em>###<\/em>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
