\n\tLooking To Make It Four Wins In A Row<\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWisconsin Rapids, Wis. – As the summer draws to a close so does the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (14-21, 26-44) baseball season as tonight will be the last game of the season here at Witter Field as they take on the Green Bay Bullfrogs (18-17, 35-35). The Rafters are winners of three straight, including last night’s slugfest as they beat the Lakeshore Chinooks 11-7. The Bullfrogs however have lost two straight, both coming at the hands of the Kenosha Kingfish.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tStarting for the Rafters tonight on the hill will be Connor McClain (0-1, Central Arkansas). McClain does not have the greatest numbers this season as he has an ERA of 9.41 in 14.1 innings of work, but his lone start of the season was very strong, and it came against these Green Bay Bullfrogs. In that game McClain went five innings only giving up two runs on five hits with no walks and struck out three batters.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis Green Bay pitching staff will have to deal with a red hot Rafters offense as they are averaging just under nine runs a game over their last four games and have hit double digit run totals twice in that span. The reason for this offensive outburst may be thanks to Keelin Rasch (Louisiana Monroe). Rasch is riding an 11 game hitting streak during which he is batting .434 with two home runs and has driven in 15 runs as well. Campbell Wear (UC Santa Barbara) has also played well as of late as over his last four games he is batting an incredible .538 with seven RBIs and has scored four runs as well.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTonight’s game will start at 6:05pm, which means these gates to Witter Field will open at 5:05pm. Tonight is Advanced Disposal Fan Appreciation Night which includes postgame fireworks to celebrate another great season here at Witter Field thanks to all the cranberry crazies. Also as it is Saturday kids can run the bases postgame presented by Marshfield Clinic.\n<\/p>\n
