\n\tThis is the sixth rain-out of the season for the Rafters, fifth at Witter Field.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin<\/strong> – Due to unplayable field conditions, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and Thunder Bay Border Cats were forced to cancel their game on Friday, August 7. The game will not be made up this season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAll fans with August 7 tickets will be able to exchange their unused tickets for either of the two remaining games during the 2015 regular season or any home game during the 2016 season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAll Rafters 9-Game Pack, Solarus Founders Club, Point Craft River, and Home Plate Club tickets from the August 7 game can be exchanged out for either of the two remaining games during the 2015 regular season or any home game during the 2016 season with the all-you-can-eat and drink amenities that are normally included in the ticket price.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf you had group tickets on the Rat Trap or Pre-Game Picnic Area for August 7, please contact your group leader for details on a makeup date.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rafters will start a two-game set with the Green Bay Bullfrogs at Witter Field for the final two games of the season. The Rafters will have a chance to set a new team-record for wins in a season by picking up a win in either game. First pitch on Saturday, August 8 will be at 6:05 p.m. with gates opening at 5:05 p.m. The first fans in the ballpark will receive a “Rafting Roscoe” bobble head doll and everyone in attendance will be entertained by the final Rafters postgame fireworks of the season, presented by Budweiser.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (KC).
