Steven Rivas earned home run No. 10 on the season as the Rafters scored eight times on six hits.<\/p>\n<p>The Rafters struck first for the second straight night. The cranberry and gold scored four times in the fourth. An RBI single from Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV) started the barrage while Steven Rivas delivered his three-run home run a couple batters later. Another Rafter run scored in the fifth thanks to an RBI sac fly from Wold.<\/p>\n<p>With a 5-0 lead in the sixth, Rockford scored their only runs of the game off a bases-loaded walk and a wild pitch. Wisconsin Rapids responded a half inning later with three runs thanks to a Brody Wofford (UCF) two-run double and Rivets error allowed Wofford to score later in the inning. The Rafters\u2019 pitching staff held the Rivets in check striking out 13 Rockford hitters.<\/p>\n<p>Trayson Kubo (4-1, 1.45 ERA) earned his fourth win of the season by throwing five scoreless and fanning seven. Alex Bacevicius (0-1, 6.00 ERA) suffered the loss allowing four earned runs in four innings.<\/p>\n<p>The Rafters conclude the three-game homestand tomorrow against the Green Bay Bullfrogs.
