The Rafters rallied in the eighth scoring three runs to take a late lead against the Frogs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both teams traded runs in the second. Green Bay scored on a wild pitch and the Rafters responded a half inning later with an RBI single from Payton Robertson (Louisiana State Shreveport). The Rafters broke the 1-1 stalemate in the eighth scoring three times on three hits. The Rafters loaded the bases on Ben Keizer with one out. Dustin Woodcock (SIU Edwardsville) brought in the go-ahead run with a hit by pitch. Brody Wofford (University of Central Florida) added on two more with a base hit to right field. Jonathan Hernandez (Chapman) pitched a scoreless ninth to seal the win. The Rafters end 20-15 at home, their third straight season with 20 wins or more at Witter Field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Hernandez (3-1, 1.07 ERA) earned his third win with 2.2 innings of scoreless work. Ben Keizer (1-2, 6.08 ERA) suffered the loss allowing three runs in the eighth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Rafters will play their final game of the 2018 season tomorrow at Joannes Stadium at 3:05 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>###<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
