New Host Family Program With A $750 Gift Card

Wausau, WI Bring a Wisconsin Woodchuck home with you this summer! The Wisconsin Woodchucks attract the top collegiate baseball players in the country as they compete across the Midwest in preparation for a professional baseball career.

The Woodchucks are in need of host families that bring these players into their homes for the summer. The team is currently accepting applications. The season runs from May 27 through the second week of August or about 75 days. Host families are asked to provide a bed; personal space and food for up to two meals per day while the players are in town.

Woodchuck’s host families truly are the backbone of the organization and are a valuable part of the team's success, both on and off the field.

Benefits to becoming a Woodchucks Host Family include:

A Woodchucks gift card worth $750 of spending money to be used at the stadium

General Admission Ticket to all road games in the Northwood’s League

Guaranteed Giveaways at the Woodchucks home games

Host Family Appreciation Night at the end of the season

The player will be a positive role model for your children

You will be more involved with the community

You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of a young man.

You may be getting to know a future Major League Baseball star

The NEW gift card policy will allow families with busy personal schedules to build a Woodchuck experience that better fits their busy lives. A family may attend fewer games, but want food and beverage added.  Or perhaps, they will want fewer games, but with premium seating options such as a Luxury Suite or a 4-Top Table both, which include all you, can eat and drink. The $750 gift card will continue to be enough for a family of four to buy season tickets. And if your family is larger, you have the Woodchucks promise that you will still be able to get season tickets.

If your interested or have question please call the Woodchucks Front Office at 715-845-5055 or email Ryan at ryan@woodchucks.com or Mike at hostfamily@woodchucks.com.
