Woodchucks' Matchup With Rafters Suspended After Four Innings
Wausau, WIS- After nearly four and a half innings, the second game of the opening day doubleheader between the Wisconsin Woodchucks and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters has been suspended.
The Woodchucks will hold a 5-1 lead when the game resumes in the top of the fifth inning with two outs and men on first and third. The game will continue when the Chucks play in Wisconsin Rapids on July 6th.
Wisconsin took an early lead in the second inning when they scored four runs, including one off a solo home run from Max Ponzurick. The Woodchucks and Rafters each added a run in the third inning, which brought the score to 5-1.
