Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have added three Oklahoma Sooners to the 2018 roster. Dylan Criquet-Danielson, Aaron Brooks and Justin Cooke will join the team this season.

 

INF – Dylan Criquet-Danielson | 6’2” | R/R | Freshman | University of Oklahoma

Criquet-Danielson will look to spark the batting lineup. As a senior in high school, he had a .537 batting average and was awarded 2017 Rawlings Perfect Game All-America Honorable Mention and All-Region Central Second Team. Criquet-Danielson was also a Minnesota All-State First Team selection as a senior and was named the Marshall Independent All-Area Baseball Player of the Year. He helped his high school team to 2015 2AA and 2017 2AAA third place finishes as well as 2017 conference championship. He is originally from Marshall, MN.

 

 

RHP – Aaron Brooks | 6’3” | R/R | Freshman | University of Oklahoma

Brooks will join the Woodchucks pitching staff. Brooks pitched four seasons of varsity baseball in high school, posting a career record of 20-2. As a senior, he had a 9-1 record, a 1.50 ERA and 79 strikeouts. He was an All-State Honorable Mention and was named Little All- City by The Oklahoman. Brooks helped his high school team to back-back-to-back regional titles in 2015, 2016 and 2017, including a 2015 State Championship and an appearance in the 2017 4A championship game. Brooks is originally from Blanchard, OK.

 

 

 

C – Justin Cooke| 6’1” | S/R | Freshman | University of Oklahoma

Cooke, the switch hitter from Norman, OK, will contribute as catcher. Cooke was a four-year letterwinner in high school and hit .459 with six home runs and 15 doubles as a senior. He was selected to 2017 Rawlings Perfect Game All-America Honorable Mention and All-Region West First Team. Cooke spent last summer with the Pittsfield Suns of the Futures League and hit .257 with two homers and 13 RBI.
