Wausau, WIS – The Woodchucks took a nail biter against the Lakeshore Chinooks 1-0 tonight. Starting pitcher Myles Gayman was magnificent, pitching seven scoreless innings and striking out four batters.

 

The Woodchucks scored their only run after left fielder Nate Stinson scored on a wild pitch thrown by Chinook starter Parker Coyne. Stinson had two singles and a double-saving catch in left field.

Myles Gayman went seven scoreless innings and was almost unhittable at times, striking out four.

 

The entire Woodchuck defense put in its best work of the season tonight, turning two double plays and making a variety of hit saving catches.
