Do you love baseball? Would you like to make a positive impact on the life of a future star? The Wisconsin Woodchucks are seeking host families who will welcome players into their homes for the season (Late May – Mid August). The host family program is vital to the success of every team in the Northwoods League, both on and off the field!

Previous host families have this to say about their experiences:

“They (the players and their families) come as strangers, we become friends, they leave as family.”

“As empty-nesters this was a great opportunity to keep us young at heart. Having ‘the boys’ in the house every summer reminds us of when our own boys were younger and involved in sports and other activities. Plus, it’s always a great time at the ballpark.”

Ferhman-2“This will be our 6th year hosting Woodchuck players.  It has been a very positive experience for our family getting to know these players and in most cases their extended families.  We still maintain contact with most of them and continue to watch them grow as both players and in their lives after baseball.”

Hosting a Woodchucks player is a rewarding experience that can develop into a life long friendship!
