Wausau, WI – The Wisconsin Woodchucks are excited to announce two new additions 2020 roster. Ben Rozenblum and Alejandro Torres will be joining the Woodchucks this summer from Florida International University.

 

 

 

INF – Ben Rozenblum| 5’10” | R/R | Freshman |Florida International University

Ben Rozenblum is a freshman originally from Coral Springs, FL. The catcher and infielder posted a .306 batting average with eight RBI, three doubles, and four home runs in 14 games this season. As a high school senior in 2019, he batted .438 with seven home runs and 27 RBUs. He was ranked the fifth best catcher out of high school in the state of Florida.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

RHP – Alejandro Torres| 6’0” | R/R | Freshman | Florida International University

Alejandro Torres is a freshman originally from Miami, FL. He is a right-handed pitcher who pitched seven innings for the FIU Panthers, recording a 1-0 record, two saves, ten strikeouts, and a 0.00 ERA. Asa  senior in high school, he ranked fifth in the state of Florida as a right-handed pitcher.
