Funatix Events is excited to host the first annual Mac & Cheese Festival and we WANT YOU to be one of our vendors! The official Mac and Cheese Festival Cheddar Council (judge panel) will judge each vendor’s menu item and if yours is picked as the best, you’ll earn a Golden Ticket ($2,500 value) to compete at the World Food Championships (WFC) in the Rice/Noodle category in 2023. This qualifier will give you the chance to compete in the world’s largest, five-day cooking tournament. Learn more about the WFC here.
This event will be a great way for your business to get involved in the community, showcase your product and attract new customers, and market your brand.
What do I need to know?
Vendors will provide (1) menu item of their choice that incorporates mac and cheese. Sample sizes are 4 oz. and cups will be provided. For each sample you serve, Funatix Events will pay you $0.75. There will be 15-20 vendors competing for a chance at the Golden Ticket. Vendors must complete their signed contracts at least 21 days prior to the event.

What am I committing to?
Vendors will need to submit their logo, business information (address, website, etc.), and contact information to secure a spot. Vendors will meet a second deadline after securing a spot notifying Funatix Events with their menu item.
What do I need to bring to Mac & Cheese Fest in Bismarck?
Vendors need to provide enough of their menu item for at least 1,000 ticketed attendees. Funatix Events will provide vendors with a projected total number of attendees on May 1st to accommodate. Vendors can also bring any promotional items they’d like to give away at their booth and all necessary equipment for their booth. Any special requests for a booth should be submitted to info@funatixevents.com.
How much does it cost to be a vendor?
There is no vendor fee required for this event. The winning vendor will receive a Golden Ticket at the festival that includes waived entry into the 2023 World Food Championships. If you’d like to upgrade to an event sponsorship, contact jordan@funatixevents.com. Spots are limited and subject to sell out.
What does a Golden Ticket do?
The overall winner gets the Golden Ticket. The main contact that is registered as a vendor at Mac & Cheese Fest in Bismarck will be the one that gets the Golden Ticket; the Golden Ticket is non-transferable to another member of the team/vendor staff. It is the responsibility of Funatix Events to provide World Food Championships (WFC) with the winner’s contact information and request that the winner register with WFC immediately. If the qualified winner/vendor doesn’t sign up within a month’s time, Funatix Events will offer the Golden Ticket to the 2nd place winner/vendor in accordance to WFC rules. The 2023 WFC Tournament is November 8-12, 2023 in Dallas, TX.
What is the Cloverdale Secret Ingredient Competition?
We’ve teamed up with Cloverdale to offer the Cloverdale Secret Ingredient Competition! Select vendors will include special Cloverdale Meats ingredients in their dishes to level up their mac and cheese. The winner will receive a $500 prize for the best use of the secret ingredient thanks to Cloverdale!
