Grace Leitheiser, a freshman at Bryant and Stratton College, comes with an impressive record that speaks volumes about her talent. During her years at Kewaskum High School, Leitheiser earned many accolades that shouldn’t go unnoticed. She received Honorable Mention her sophomore year followed by Unanimous First Team All-Conference her junior year. Her senior year was quite memorable as she received First Team All-Conference, All-District Honorable Mention, and played in the Senior All Star Game.
Playing in her first collegiate season with only 30 games under her belt, she’s made quite the impression already with a .420 batting average, 31 runs, 5 doubles, and 7 home runs. Additionally, her on-base percentage is sitting at a .529 and her slugging percentage at a .797. Both leaving her just outside the top ten in the NJCAA Region 4 rankings. These impressive statistics demonstrate her consistency and ability to make an impact in every game she plays. Leveraging the 30-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) will be the first for-profit Women’s Summer Collegiate Softball League beginning play in the Upper Midwest in the summer of 2024. The purpose of the League will be to develop players for their college, Olympic and future professional play. Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
