Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University) starts in the circle for the Habaneros. She let up one base hit and then pitched her way into an inning-ending double play.

 

The Habaneros break their bats out in full force for the first time this season. Dropping a crooked number; 5 runs. Thanks to RBI hits from Skylinn Pogue (Iowa University), Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University), and a 2-run Homerun from Morgan Honeycutt (St.Cloud State University)

 

Great defense from the Habaneros in the top half of the second with another inning-ending double play turned a 5-3-2 by Indigo Fish (Winona State University), and Paige Zender (Iowa State University).

 

In the top half of the 3rd inning. Cadey Shipman (North Dakota State University) gets the Honeybees going with a Solo Homerun.

 

The Habaneros push one more across the board in the bottom of the 3rd thanks to Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University) once again coming through for the Habs up to 2 RBI on the day.

 

Cadey Shipman continued her amazing day hitting her 2nd Homerun of the day cutting the deficit to 3 runs in the top of the 5th.

 

Mankato would get one across in the bottom of the 5th inning. Extending the score to 9-8 in a thriller.

 

In the top of the 6th the Honeybees would go on to add 3 more runs as Pitcher Madison Wihlm didnt fair too well for her second outing of the season. The Honeybees now lead 11-9 going into bottom of the 6th.

 

The Habaneros punch back once again with 3 more runs thanks to Sami Potvin (Iowa State University) for the go ahead run to put the Habaneros lead to 12-11 after 6.
