Nightmares defeat the Habaneros 9-1.

 

Teagan Livesay (Southeast Missouri State University) starts in the circle for the Habaneros. The Nightmares tack one on thanks to an RBI Single by Ella Stephenson (University of Michigan). The Nightmares load the bases up but leave them stranded, only scoring 1.

 

Emma Lee (Trine University) and Brooke Holmes (St.Cloud State University) get hits in the bottom half. Habaneros cause some more havoc on the bases and get an unearned run across the board. 1-1 knotted up after 1.

 

2 hits and a walk to start the 2nd inning for the Nightmares. Emma Kavanaugh (University of Arizona) hits a 3-run Homerun for the Nightmares to put them up 4.

 

The Habaneros go down quietly in the bottom of the 2nd. 5-1 Nightmares.

 

The Nightmares go down quietly in the top of the 3rd inning.

 

Habaneros cant get anything going. Karlie Mckenzie (Eastern Illinois University) is cruising in the circle.

 

Nightmares tack on one more, but Alexis Michon (Trine University) and gets the Habs out of a bases loaded jam.  6-1 Nightmares.

 

Habaneros ground into their second inning ending double play of the game. 6-1 going into top 5.
