Baseball is coming to the Dune Coast – and we want you in the dugout from day one!
On Thursday, June 4, we are hosting a community town hall to introduce our brand-new Northwoods League team and share what we have been building behind the scenes. This is your chance to meet the founders, hear the vision, ask questions and have a say in how this team takes shape.
What is the Northwoods League?
The Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in North America, with summer collegiate teams across the Midwest. It is where future MLB stars cut their teeth more than 350 alumni have made it to the Majors. And starting in 2027, the Dune Coast will have its own team.
What we will cover at the town hall
- Who we are and why we are doing this
- The vision for the team, the stadium experience and our role in the community
- How kids across the region are helping name the team
- Ways to get involved – as a fan, sponsor, host family or community partner
- Open Q&A with the founders
