GRAND FORKS, ND – The Grand Forks Spitfires continue adding talent to their inaugural 2026 roster with the signing of Emma Peeples, an outfielder from York University.
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Peeples brings athleticism, energy, and a strong work ethic to Grand Forks as the Spitfires prepare for their first season in franchise history. Known for her speed and ability to make plays in the outfield, Peeples adds another dynamic presence to a roster built to compete at a high level.
Throughout her collegiate career at York University, Peeples has continued to develop as a dependable player both on and off the field. Her competitive mindset and willingness to embrace new challenges make her an exciting addition to the Spitfires organization as the team continues constructing a versatile and talented roster.
General Manager Roberto Lemus spoke highly of what Peeples will bring to the team this summer. “Emma is a player who brings great energy and enthusiasm every day,” said Lemus. “She’s athletic, eager to learn, and someone we believe will make an immediate impact both in the outfield and within our team culture.
