GRAND FORKS, ND – The Northwoods League has officially announced the rosters for the 2026 Northwoods League Softball All-Star Game, recognizing the league’s top performers for an unforgettable showcase of talent featuring the best players from across the league.

The 2026 All-Star Game will feature two teams divided by geography, with the East All-Stars representing the La Crosse Steam, Madison Night Mares, and Wausau Ignite, while the West All-Stars will be made up of players from the Grand Forks Spitfires, Mankato Habaneros, and Minot Honeybees.

The coaching staffs for this year’s All-Star Game have also been announced. The Madison Night Mares coaching staff will lead the East All-Stars, while the Grand Forks Spitfires coaching staff, led by Head Coach Alvarez, will guide the West All-Stars. The honor is awarded to the teams leading their respective divisions at this point in the season.

The Grand Forks Spitfires will be well represented on the West roster, with Ally Hetzel (C), Taylor Larson (3B), Alex Graham (OF), Emma Peeples (OF), and Mattison Kwarta (P) earning All-Star selections after outstanding performances throughout the season.

Before the All-Star Game, fans will also be treated to the annual Northwoods League Softball Home Run Challenge, featuring some of the league’s most powerful hitters competing for bragging rights.

• Mickayla Tosch – Madison Night Mares

This year’s All-Star Game celebrates the incredible talent across the Northwoods League Softball circuit while giving fans the opportunity to watch the league’s brightest stars compete on one field. From standout defensive plays to dominant pitching performances and explosive offensive firepower, the All-Star festivities promise to deliver an exciting showcase of the league’s future stars.
