GRAND FORKS, ND – The Grand Forks Spitfires continue to build momentum for their inaugural 2026 season with the signing of Kennadee Belnap, a right-handed pitcher from Brigham Young University.
Originally from Evanston, Wyoming, Belnap brings a strong competitive mindset and valuable experience from one of the nation’s premier collegiate softball programs. Known for her presence in the circle and determination on the field, Belnap adds depth and talent to the Spitfires pitching staff as the organization continues assembling a roster ready to compete at a high level.
Competing at the Division I level has helped Belnap develop into a disciplined and hardworking athlete capable of making an impact in high-pressure situations. Her addition reflects the Spitfires’ commitment to bringing in players who not only excel on the field but also contribute to a strong team culture.
General Manager Roberto Lemus expressed excitement about adding Belnap to the inaugural roster. “Kennadee brings toughness, leadership, and experience to our pitching staff,” said Lemus. “She competes with confidence and has the mentality you want from a pitcher. We’re excited for what she’ll bring to our team and the energy she’ll add to the clubhouse this summer.”
