GRAND FORKS, ND – The Grand Forks Spitfires continue to strengthen their inaugural 2026 roster with the signing of Laina Baker, a freshman student-athlete from the University of Mary.
Originally from Bonney Lake, Washington, Baker brings enthusiasm, work ethic, and a competitive spirit to the Spitfires organization. As she begins her collegiate career at the University of Mary, Baker has already demonstrated the dedication and drive that make her an exciting addition to the team’s inaugural season roster.
Transitioning to the collegiate level has provided Baker with valuable experience and opportunities for growth, helping her develop both on and off the field. Her commitment to continuous improvement and team-first mentality align with the culture the Spitfires are building as they prepare for their first season in franchise history.
