GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Grand Forks Spitfires are proud to recognize one of the organization’s most beloved game-day traditions through their partnership with Valley Senior Living and the Spitfires Sparks.

The Spitfires Sparks, made up of six Valley Senior Living residents, have quickly become fan favorites by bringing energy, enthusiasm, and joy to the ballpark. Throughout the season, the group performs a choreographed dance during an early inning at select home games, creating memorable moments for fans while proving that fun truly has no age limit.

When the Sparks are unable to attend a game in person, fans can still enjoy their performance on the videoboard through a pre-recorded dance, allowing their spirit and excitement to remain part of every game-day experience.

The partnership has provided the residents with a meaningful opportunity to become involved in the community and experience the excitement of Spitfires baseball. Participating in the program has helped them build friendships, create lasting memories, and feel like an important part of the organization. Their enthusiasm for cheering on the Spitfires has been contagious, and fans have embraced the group whether they’re performing live on the field or appearing on the videoboard.
