Sean Deegan had a single, a double, and scored two runs as the Bombers went on to edge the Express seven to four. Bombers scored seven runs on seven hits and four errors and the Express tallied five runs on 10 hits and an error.
Nathan Orf hit a grounder through third baseman, Beau Didier, then Noble enriquez snatched it off the ground to throw to second for an out in the first. And to end the inning Battistelli throws to first and picks the base runner off.
To start off the Bombers, Deegan, hit a double base hit. Dan Dispensa hits a short fly ball to center field to get on base and score Deegan. Lawrence hit to second where the second baseman fumbles the ball. Kauten hits a shot to left where two will score. Making it three to nothing.
During the second inning, Deegan hit to get on base, and Enriquez walked to first. Both players touch home to make it five to nothing. Zenn hit the ball deep to right field to score two runs and put him on third base, with no outs. A sacrifice fly hits in another run to make it three to five.
The bottom of the fifth inning started out slow for the Bombers, two walks and two outs. Then the Express end up getting two errors and the Bombers score two runs and advance a man to second. The inning ends with a score of seven to three.
The Bombers would hold on in the last innings to take the game seven to five, making them five and seven on the season. Chris Howard got the save for the Bombers, throwing three innings and only allowing one run on three hits and three strikeouts.
