The Bombers continued to fill out their infield today, announcing the signing of Brendan Norton from La Salle University.

Brendan Norton: 5’10-170, L/R, 2B/OF, La Salle Univ. (Jr.), Lanesboro, MA.

Norton has had an outstanding career at La Salle thus far, currently hitting .271 with 18 RBIs and eight steals. In his breakout sophomore season with the Explorers, he hit .400 through all 52 games, was voted the Big Five Conference Student Athlete of the Year, was a member of the All-Academic Team, and was the third-baseman for the All-Big Five Team.

“Every successful team needs a guy or two like Brendan.  He is a heady player that will get on base, steal some bases, move runners over and do the little things that will help his team win ball games.” said Brian Colopy, Bombers GM.
