How do I book a group outing at La Crosse Steam Softball?
If you are interested in booking a group outing, email tickets@lacrossesteam.com or call 608-796-9553. Our staff would be happy to help you plan your next outing!
What time does my group area open?
All group areas will open one hour prior to first pitch. If you would like to decorate or set up, please speak with your group sales representative about early entry for a few people.
How many people are required to book an outing?
A minimum number of 20 people are required to book an area at Copeland Park. A minimum number of 100 people are required to exclusively book a picnic tent. If a group is less than 100, they may share the picnic tent with another group.
Is my ticket price included with my group outing?
Yes, your game ticket is included with all group tickets in the ballpark.
What is the initial cost to book an outing at Copeland Park?
To book an outing, a 25% deposit is required within two weeks of booking. Then, 7-10 days prior to your event, final numbers and a final payment are due. The final invoice for pre-game picnics will include a 5% gratuity. Once final payment is received, all tickets would then be issued to your group.
Do kids receive a discount?
Yes, for youth 12 and under the price would be $15 for pre-game picnics. Throughout the ballpark, children under 3 are free.
Is there going to be enough seating for every member of our group?
Tickets for both our pre-game picnics and grandstand groups include tickets with an assigned seat in our grandstand for every attendee of your group.
Can we decorate the picnic tent?
Yes, you are allowed to bring in balloons or other decorations. Should you choose to do so, we do not allow banners to hang inside or out of the group area. Please coordinate ahead of time with your group sales representative.
Can I carry in food products or beverages for my group?
No, outside food and drink are not allowed inside the ballpark. If you would like to bring in a cake/cupcakes for your group as part of your outing, please check with your group sales representative beforehand.
What is the refund policy?
All sales are final at the time of purchase and full payment. No refunds will be offered. If for any reason you must cancel the event, La Crosse Steam Softball must be notified at least 30 days before the scheduled game date in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. A cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled game will result in a loss of your deposit.
What is the rain policy for group tickets?
In the event of bad weather, the best place to find out if the game has been cancelled or postponed is our website or on the La Crosse Steam Softball social media sites. If we need to cancel a game, we’ll immediately put a story on the website describing any details of when the game will be rescheduled and how to redeem your tickets.
If a game is rained out prior to the conclusion of the 5th inning, all tickets for reserved seats can be redeemed at the La Crosse Steam Ticket Office for any other game remaining in the 2024 regular season.
If a game is rained out prior to the gates opening, all tickets can be redeemed at the La Crosse Steam Ticket Office for any game remaining in the 2024 regular season, based on availability.
If the rainout occurs two (2) hours after the gates have opened, regardless of how much of the game has been played, all picnic and field club tickets will be considered used in full and can only be redeemed for a reserved seat for another game during the 2024 regular season, based on availability.
If three (3) innings have occurred, a picnic is also considered used in full. If the rainout occurs less than two (2) hours after the gates open, field club tickets will be valued as a half-price field club coupon and can be redeemed for any other game remaining in the 2024 regular season, based on availability.
If the game is shortened due to rain but has been played beyond the required five (5) innings to make it a complete game, all tickets will be considered used and will have no value at the La Crosse Steam Ticket Office.
If the game is shortened due to rain, the La Crosse Steam staff will attempt to contact all picnic and field club parties prior to them leaving the park that night.
