The La Crosse Loggers organization offer unparalleled hands-on experience to a select handful of college students every spring and summer through our internship program. Positions range from season ticket activation to inside sales, to corporate services and social media and more. Interns with the Loggers not only learn what it takes to run a baseball club on a daily basis, but also get the opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Loggers season is a fun-filled 72 game schedule with 36 home games at Copeland Park & Event Center, with additional non-baseball events rounding out the summer.

Come work with an established team and connect yourself with a growing league as you gain valuable experience while having a fun-filled season. The La Crosse Loggers provide you the opportunity to be involved in every possible aspect of the organization, which may include tickets sales, on-field promotions, concessions management, merchandising, media relations, video production and more.

The Loggers will provide a stipend based on the number of hours worked. Interns are expected to work all home games, with the opportunity to work special events if interested. While most internships will end at the conclusion of the baseball season, please communicate with your supervisor to see if there are any needs after baseball season ends.

  • Coordinate renewal of all mini plans, flex plans etc.
  • Call on all warm leads to upsell ticket package to single game buyer
  • Generate leads, prospecting for new potential buyers
  • Work with General Manager on calls to previous concert buyers for 2022 concert series
  • Work in ticket window on Gamedays before first pitch
  • Work on-field during games to help coordinate promotions/entertainment (crowd energy specialist)

  • Coordinate all Fundraising at the ballpark for non-profits
  • Set up all military nights, on-field performances from community programs, work with Little League teams on Loggers Dream Team of the Night and set up National Anthem singers
  • Assist with deliverables to corporate sponsors for the upcoming season

  • Ballpark setup and overseeing for non-Logger games at the ballpark (UW-La Crosse, local high school, American Legion, etc.)
  • Maintain and keep facility clean and presentable for every event
    • Including mound prep, equipment upkeep, mowing and turf management
  • Work with Field Manager for the Loggers with practice setup on gamedays

  • Lead all social media platforms including but not limited to the following:
    • Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn
  • Coordinate content to run on said platforms on a daily basis to promote the brand and experience of a Logger game
  • Work with General Manager on 2022 Concert Series to promote non-baseball events at Copeland Park and Events Center
    • Work with 2022 artists management teams to create graphics, videos etc. to promote the shows coming to the venue

  • Upkeep team records that take place in the 2022 season
  •  Create the “Daily Log” publication on Gamedays to highlight the matchup, standings, statistics etc.

    • Team laundry, working with caterers on team meals, information on player features etc.
