MANKATO, MN – That’s a 3-game sweep against the Honeybees for the Habaneros as they won 3-1 in an evening matchup before they head back to ISG.
Jenna Sprague (Washburn University) earned her 5th win on the season ending her day with 1 strikeout and a 2.49 ERA after facing 28 batters.
Emma Lee (Trine University), Madelyn Birling (Bryant and Stratton College), and Joscelyn Bennett (Bryant and Stratton College) were the 3 players who brought in each run to give the Habaneros the win.
Defensively, it was another impressive showing from the lineup all around. They had a total of 21 putouts and 5 assists.
The Habaneros will face the La Crosse Steam tomorrow in a doubleheader at ISG Field as they look to keep their winning streak alive.

Leveraging the 30-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) will be the first for-profit Women’s Summer Collegiate Softball League beginning play in the Upper Midwest in the summer of 2024. The purpose of the League will be to develop players for their college, Olympic and future professional play. Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
