Albrecht joins the Honeybees after three seasons pitching for the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks. Albrecht, from Barrington, Illinois, committed to the University of North Dakota in 2020 ahead of an outstanding senior season at Barrington High School, which resulted in a 33-2 record and division and conference championships. In that season, Albrecht in particular struck out 172 batters, threw 12 shutouts, pitched 3 no hitters, scored 8 home runs and 41 RBIs, and garnered a slew of accolades, including MSL All-Conference Team, MSL West Player Of The Year, and ICA All State 1st Team.

“I am most looking forward to playing with a new team and new people, as well as the memories we will make traveling,” said Albrecht.
