The Honeybees are tied for the most wins in the league coming into today’s game. They have a challenge ahead of them as they take on the 6-3 Madison Nightmares. These two teams split earlier this season in Madison with Minot taking game one, 17-7, and the Nightmares responding in game two with an 11-9 win.

Honeybees head coach, Craig Montvidas, says the winning formula is simple; limit mistakes. Minot has been mashing softballs early in the season with a team OPS of 1.007. All Coach Montvidas feels the ‘Bees need to do to win is give their offense some room to work.

The two big things that he talked about were walks and errors. If the Honeybees can limit those two things, he believes the Honeybees can win any game this season.

The Honeybees and Nightmares play at 6:35 tonight. Come to Corbett Field or tune into the broadcast on Northwoods League+.
