The Minot Honeybees have now won a franchise-best five consecutive games. They will look for number six plus a sweep over the Wausau Ignite tonight. Minot swept yesterday’s double-header, 10-2 and 4-3.

The Honeybees offense stood out in game one yesterday. They recorded twelve hits, two of which were home runs from Bella Cimino and Taylor Chillingworth. Trinity Gregg led the team with three hits. Julianna Verni was the starting pitcher and she starred once again, going five innings and allowing just two hits and zero runs. She came in in game two in relief and did not allow a base runner in the final two innings.

Coach Craig Montvidas and his team are excited about this streak and are looking to add to it tonight. He is warning his team about becoming complacent in their recent success. However, him and his team are excited about the potential large crowd tonight for Bark in the Park.

The Honeybees and Ignite wrap up their series tonight at 6:35. Come experience Bark at the Park at Corbett Field or tune into the broadcast on ESPN+.
