The Flying Mummies continue to build momentum as they introduce two fresh faces in this week’s Mummies Unwrapped series: Jimmy Chadwell and Jackson Cliatt.
Jimmy Chadwell — MIF, Columbia University
A 6’2″ sophomore from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Jimmy Chadwell joins the Mummies after a promising season at Columbia University. Chadwell appeared in eight games in 2025, earning two starts and picking up his first collegiate hit against San Diego. He added a double and two RBIs versus Manhattan, showcasing emerging offensive potential.
A standout at Loomis Chaffee, Chadwell was a four-year starter, team captain, MVP, and All-League selection. His senior-year numbers—.379 average, .526 OBP, and 22 hits—paired with Perfect Game All-American honors, make him a high-upside addition to the Mummies’ infield.
Jackson Cliatt — C/UTL, Wallace Dothan
Jackson Cliatt, a 6’1″, 200-pound freshman from Evans, Georgia, brings strength and versatility as a catcher/utility option. Coming from Wallace Dothan, he arrives with a reputation for toughness, adaptability, and strong defensive instincts. His ability to move around the field gives the Mummies immediate roster flexibility.
