Become a Host Family.

You’re at a Major League ballpark and the pitcher on the mound once spent a summer living in your home. How cool!

Since its founding in 1994, the Northwoods League has relied on generous families who open their doors to student-athletes from across the country. By providing a comfortable bed and a welcoming environment, host families become an essential part of each player’s journey.

Becoming a host family is more than just a generous act. It’s an opportunity to create memories, form lasting relationships, and play a meaningful role in the success of these student-athletes. It’s a commitment, but one that brings immeasurable rewards for both the players and the families who participate.

Host Family Benefits Include:

The Host Family Experience.

“Opening our home to college players was a great decision for us as empty nesters. All our players were very polite and so respectful of our home. The boys schedule did not allow them much free time, but what time we had with them we truly enjoyed getting to know each one of them. We enjoyed spending the summer at the park watching them play ball. We are already looking forward to next year and being a part of the Leprechauns family again!!” – Jen B.
