ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Emerge and the Royal Oak Leprechauns have announced a new partnership that brings together workforce development and community engagement in a meaningful and innovative way.

Through the partnership, Emerge will serve as the Official Workforce Development Partner of the Leprechauns, working collaboratively to create pathways for students and emerging talent to explore careers, gain real-world experience, and connect with employers.

This partnership is rooted in a shared belief that talent development happens everywhere — in classrooms, in communities, and even at the ballpark.

Throughout the season, Emerge and the Leprechauns will introduce initiatives focused on networking and career development events at the ballpark, hands-on learning opportunities for students, and special projects that allow local students to directly contribute to the Leprechauns organization. The partnership will also help create meaningful connections between emerging talent and local employers in a way that is engaging, practical, and community-driven.

“The Leprechauns have built something special in this community, and we’re excited to build on that by creating new pathways for students and young talent,” said Joe Bamberger, Managing Partner of Emerge. “This partnership is about opening doors and showing the next generation what’s possible right in their own backyard.”

The Leprechauns have built their brand around providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment while maintaining a strong commitment to community impact.

“The Leprechauns have always been about more than what happens on the field,” said Danny Weiss, General Manager of the Royal Oak Leprechauns. “We care a lot about being a real part of the community, and this partnership with Emerge is a natural fit. It’s exciting to create opportunities for students and young professionals to gain experience, make connections, and be around something positive and community-driven.”

By integrating workforce development into the ballpark experience, the partnership aims to create meaningful connections between local talent and employers while expanding access to career pathways.

More details on upcoming programs and ways to get involved will be announced throughout the season.
