ROYAL OAK, MICHIGAN – The Northwoods League announces its 2026 All Star Game ballot, and the Royal Oak Leprechauns hold three of the roster spots for the Great Lakes Division team.

The Royal Oak Leprechauns recruited top-talent from colleges across the country. Earlier this morning, the NWL revealed its roster for the 2026 All Star Game, which includes three standout players from the Royal Oak Leprechauns.

Oliver Service

In his second Leprechauns season, junior Oliver Service (Marshall University) is named to the All Star roster. Service has started 27 games while batting .340 with six home runs, 29 RBIs, and a .452 OBP. The Detroit native is consistent at the plate making him an easy selection.

Luke Kosko

Freshman outfielder Luke Kosko (University of Cincinnati) is named an NWL All Star in his first season in the league. Leading the team with eight home runs throughout 30 games, Kosko has proven to be a power-hitter for the Leprechauns. He batted a .290 during the first half  of the season with 30 RBIs.

Kellen English

Freshman Kellen English (Indiana University) will take the mound at the 2026 All Star Game. English has pitched 14.0 innings for the Leprechauns while maintaining a 1.29 ERA with 21 strikeouts. English is a consistent reliever for the Leprechauns;  he has tallied three saves this season.

 

Players participating in the NWL All Star Game will have the valuable opportunity to showcase their talent in front of top MLB scouts.

The NWL All Star Game, which will take place at the Field of Dreams Ballpark in Dyersville, Iowa is set to take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. ET. Fans can purchase tickets on the league’s website or watch the game live on FloSports.
