ALL STAR, JARED JAMES LEADS CATS TO VICTORY

After a three-day break for the All-Star Break in Wisconsin Rapids, WI the Cats earn a victory 5-3 against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in their first game back at TbayTel Park Wednesday night.

All-star hitter, Jared James (Long Beach) lead the Cats with a home run in the bottom of the third and a double in the bottom of the fifth giving him two runs on two hits and one RBI. Fellow all-star and Thunder Bay native Cater McEachern (Trinity) also helped the team to the victory with one run on two hits and one RBI.

Zach Thiac (Nicholls) earned his first win of the season going seven innings allowing no runs and only three hits while striking out four. Both Kenny Glover Jr. (Savannah State) and Anthony Morris (St. Thomas Aquinas) went one inning apiece allowing one run on two hits and two runs on three hits respectively.  

The Cats hope to sweep the Rafters Friday night at TbayTel Park at 7:05om EST.
