WILLMAR BLANKS THUNDER BAY

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border were blanked by Willmar Thursday night with a final score of 8-0.

Starting pitcher Gunnar Kay (Jefferson) went the first six innings allowing nine hits while striking out two. Seth Gill (Tarleton) came in for the seventh inning before allowing a grand slam off the bat of Dylan Woods (Nova Southeastern).

The Border Cats finish their series against the Stingers Friday night at 7:05pm CST / 8:05pm EST.
