Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Cook must be aware of portion control, food waste, and sanitation while operating concessions. While the day-to-day duties of cook assistants are determined by the kitchen manager, there are many core tasks associated with the role.

Greet customers, make suggestions, answer and present the menu. Answer all questions about beverages and the food. Take orders and send them to kitchen staff through the POS system. Ensure quality service and serve meals. Prepare the bills for beverages and meals ordered, take the cash and make change, and then balance daily transactions. Apply health regulations relating to cleanliness. Apply safety regulations. Comply with equipment usage guidelines Ensure your work area is clean. Organize your work and work area professionally Clean and clear food areas.

Sell tickets to customers in person using cash or credit card, make change quickly and accurately; balance out cash drawer at the end of the shift or day; must give accurate information to high number of phone inquiries; deals with an occasional unsatisfied customer; works under stress when lines are long and the phones are busy. Upon request, provides accurate information to patrons.

The majority of the time, the clubhouse provides the focal point of a baseball club. It often determines the way a player develops and the level of success he has both on and off the field. A well managed clubhouse offers a multi-functional facility, from providing a meeting room to acting as a second home to the players. As the Clubhouse Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service to players, coaches, team personnel, umpires, league officials, and special entertainment acts such as mascots.

The Clubhouse Manager will work closely with the operations department and other internal departments to assist with all operational and team needs. This includes but is not limited to equipment inventory management, clubhouse and dugout cleanliness and organization, and serving as a representative at various promotions, events, and games.

Assisting with the set-up and tear down of cameras and webcast equipment on a daily basis. On game days, interns will rotate duties between the Webcast Producer, Webcast Director, and one of three Camera Operators.  Interns will be responsible for the following duties including: operating and maintaining equipment (cameras, switchers, audio/sound equipment), use proper video production terminology to help communicate with the other webcast interns, learn to work as part of a crew to produce a live webcast product, and working with the broadcaster to produce press releases. On non-game days, Webcast staff will collaborate with Marketing Interns to film commercials for the website, webcast, and social media. Must have experience in Mass Communications, Radio, TV, or similar major. Must be available for training with the video production manager on select dates.  Training will also be provided on a League level.

Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service each time they shop. Oversee day to day operations of retail store. Identify key trends/consumers of the store. Assist in store sets and any special events merchandise. Understand and execute company directives to align with overall store strategies. Assist with training staff in sales strategies, customer service, POS usage, and game day roles. Support buying team in day to day inventory tracking. Manage website, order fulfillment, and sales tracking. Work both in groups and independently to create visual merchandising arrangements in store. Collaborate with other interns and full-time staff on special events, projects, and game days. Manage game day staff in season on game days and assist in team store scheduling. Upkeep the overall store cleanliness, brand standards, and store check list. Assist in execution and planning of all retail promotions . Other duties assigned by the General Manager.

Manage all on-field promotions that are executed on game days, jersey auctions, and other special events taking place each night.  Coordinate all on-field promotions and pre-game activities (National Anthem, first pitches, etc.).  Work closely with PA Announcer and music staff to ensure production runs smoothly.  Develop positive relationships with fans, clients, and community members to help promote the Border Cats.  Outgoing, energetic, and personable candidates are desired.

Assist with generating content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat) during Border Cats games.  Create new and creative video, graphics, and other multimedia content for use on our digital and social platforms.  Create print material including but not limited to stadium signage, game-day program,  and advertisements.  Help take photos during the games of game-day sponsors, giveaways, first pitch, signage, hospitality areas, on-field promotions and the overall game-day experience. Help promote upcoming games and events on digital and social platforms.  Attend player/mascot/organization appearances in the community and take the lead in gathering photos and social media content at these events.  Assist with stadium set-up and clean up.
